E-Books come in a wide range of formats to suit any kind publication:

1.MobiPocket, MS e-book reader, Palm e-Reader and Adobe PDF, are the simplest formats  suitable for the written word (with perhaps two or three sketches thrown in, but little more).

2.Word format, either MS Word or Open Office, is another fairly simple option suitable for largely text based material.  While this format allows the inclusion of some graphic work, certainly to a greater extent than the above formats, neither program can handle massive graphic content. Moreover, it should be noted that publications in this format can be read only on one of the two aforementioned programs.

3.PDF files read on e-Book readers is a third option, but suffers from same limitations, noted above, of not being able support sophisticated and detailed graphic material.
